Van Pul & Thieltgen are Leadership Consultants.  We liaise two complementary services - retained executive search and executive onboarding - with only one ambition: to ensure durable leadership solutions for our clients.

Van Pul & Thieltgen was founded by Mischa van Pul, a former Partner at Heidrick & Struggles and Russell Reynolds Associates, and Catherine Thieltgen, a former Unilever executive now dedicated to business coaching. 

Together with a team of Mentors we serve clients - in most cases CEO, MD or Investment Professionals - as a top headhunter in the benelux area, satisfying a business need for the combined executive search and onboarding solution.

The founders started their activities in retained search (more commonly known as executive search, headhunter, CEO search or CEO recruitment activities) - in Brussels and throughout the Benelux - during the mid 90s.  Since then, the team has built up a track of executive search, recruitment, onboarding and business coaching success in 5 broad sectors: Green Tech & Renewable Energy, Financial Services, Technology, Professional Services and FMCG.  CEO recruitment and CFO-level executive search in the areas of Finance and IT has also emerged as a key area of expertise.  We measure our success on an executive's continued performance. We take personal responsibility in making sure that 'candidates stick'.  The integration process following the placement, the mentoring and coaching of clients and new executives which we call executive onboarding, is an integral part of every mandate conducted in partnership with van Pul & Thieltgen.   We are independent - consultative rather than transactional, executional rather than sales-based.
